Where to Stay in London

Choosing where to stay in London is a crucial part of planning the perfect visit. Whether you want to experience a historic hotel with plenty of English charm or a sleek stay that captures the bustling energy of the city, there are so many incredible hotels that will add to your London experience.

Here are my recommendations for where to stay in London.

I’ve been lucky to have gifted stays at some of these hotels through social media collaborations, however inclusion in this list was not required - these are all stays I would genuinely recommend! I also make a small commission for any stays booked through these links.

If you want stunning views and sleek interiors…

then Park Plaza London Riverbank is the place to go! This hotel offers postcard-worthy views of Big Ben, Parliament, and the London Eye with modern furnishings and amenities. I stayed here with my boyfriend a few years ago and we loved the onsite restaurant and the pool!

Hotel with view of London Eye

If you want to have breakfast with a view in a historic hotel…

then The Royal Horseguards Hotel is the perfect spot! There’s something so luxurious about getting breakfast delivered right to your room, and sipping coffee with a view of the London skyline is even dreamier. This hotel is so elegant with grand architecture and a fascinating history.

If you’re a solo traveler who wants to explore Notting Hill…

book this cozy Airbnb! I stayed here for two nights and it was the perfect place to live out my dream of having my own flat in Notting Hill. I loved the kitchenette and the cozy interiors. It is also located on a gorgeous street, just a few minutes walk from Notting Hill Gate Station and Portobello Road.

If you want to make yourself at home in the most beautiful areas of London…

settle in at the Cheval Collection Gloucester Park or the Cheval Collection Phoenix House! These stunning aparthotels will make you feel like a local in some of London’s most sought-after neighborhoods. I loved being able to wake up in my own flat before going shopping in Chelsea or making a home-cooked dinner after a day of exploring Kensington.
